Damien Ocampo

My story begins in Arizona, where I was born in Flagstaff. I moved around every few years of my life all throughout New Mexico. I ended up in Socorro in early high school, where I met the girl who will eventually become my wife. After graduation, I accepted a football scholarship to NM State University. After a wonderful stint at NMSU i finished up my Bachelors at Western NM University. After graduation I moved around NM as a football coach, teacher, administrator and eventually landed back in Socorro, NM with my high school sweetheart and children. About 15 years into my coaching/administrator's career, I decided to change direction in my life and pursue another passion, financial advising and insurance. I got licensed in auto, life and health insurance and Bank, but wealth management is what gets my motor running! I really love talking to people about how to make their money work for them to help secure their future. To my customers and fellow community members, I am known as "Coach", youth church leader, fatherhood mentor, youth advocate, business owner, community supporter. Socorro is my home and I strive to create an environment where everyone feels the support and friendliness of a good neighbor.
